Success in Ștefănești!

The GLOW seminar in Ștefănești was a great success! We had a two day seminar in which girls, ages 16-19 learned about leadership, future planning, community development, and seminar planning. The girls were all very active and motivated to have more seminars in the future. Three of the girls helped conduct a seminar on the second day which taught girls, ages 14-15 about leadership, communication, nutrition, and self esteem/body image. The three girls from the first day conducted the leadership session by themselves and it was exciting to see them apply what they had learned the day before. They also helped us facilitate the other sessions throughout the day. All of the feedback I received was positive and I've been told by several people that the boys in the village are complaining that they weren't invited and are hoping there are seminars for them in the future.
